Malaysia - Saint-Gobain meraikan Ulangtahun yang ke 350

On the 15th October 2015 all business entity of Saint-Gobain Group in Malaysia celebrated the group’s 350 Years Anniversary. The anniversary celebration was an opportunity and an occasion to remind all employees of the strength that was acquired through 350 years of history and 350 years of on-going innovation. 

Our experience means we understand and focus on the long term. It also gives us the composure and agility to adapt to the ever-changing world. Our history is proof that we are a company that has consistently pushed back boundaries and taken up technological challenges. 

On this memorable day … Weber Malaysia were joined by the team from Abrasives SEA & KL Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) to celebrate the anniversary collectively. During the event there were highlights on Saint-Gobain’s history as well as history and milestones of each of the participating entity. It was also a fun filled event as the employees gets to learn more about the group through interactive quiz. This event was an ideal platform for us to know each other better and to enhance solidarity. 

The event was also an opportunity to present “Best Employee Award” in recognition of staffs which were really outstanding in carrying out their responsibilities. The highlight of the event was the cake cutting ceremony to signify this memorable day of celebration. Through this event, employees have learned more about Saint-Gobain history, its strategy and long term objective.
