Saint-Gobain Weber and E.MIX Malaysia successfully secured the supply of its range of Rendering & Plastering Mortar for the iconic Menara Warisan Merdeka project and has till date supplied to the value of MYR 2.3m. The construction of the iconic building was estimated to cost RM 5b.

Pre-Mix Malaysia successfully secured the supply of its range of Rendering & Plastering Mortar for the iconic Menara Warisan Merdeka project and has till date supplied to the value of MYR 2.3m. The construction of the iconic building was estimated to cost RM 5b.

Menara Warisan Merdeka is situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia and is owned & developed by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and constructed through a joint venture effort between Samsung Construction & Technology and United Engineering Malaysia Construction (UEMC). When fully completed it stands at 644m comprising of 118 stories. It will be the tallest building in Malaysia and seventh tallest in the world. The podium floors are occupied by retail stores & a shopping mall. Above it 80 floors of the building will be used as office space; where 60 out of these 80 floors of office space will serve as the new headquarters of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB). The upper floors will consist of 12 stories of hotel rooms & 5 stories of hotel residences. The basement parking will have space for up to 5,000 parking bay.

Pre-Mix Malaysia through its collaboration with the sub-contractor lobbied the specification of its range of rendering mortar (ie. Easi Render 09); as well as its range of finishing plaster (ie. Easi Finish Grey, Easi Base Grey & Emix Block Plaster); through RSP Architect the project delivery architect with a series of technical briefing and on-site technical support. This collective efforts lead to the approval of the proposed solutions and recognition of the professional commitment, quality & performance of the solution delivered by Saint-Gobain.
