On 2nd February 2017, Gyproc Malaysia conducted a START (Site, Technical And Refurbishment Training) program to the students and lecturers of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) at our training centre in Port Klang.

On 16th March 2017, Gyproc Malaysia conducted a technical presentation and practical demonstration to 5 quantity surveying students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). This training acts as part of their academic assignment on technical application and industrial exposure. We appreciate their effort of coming to our training centre in Port Klang and learning from our experts.
As part of the global Habitat corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the Malaysian teams from Gyproc, Weber, Sekurit, and Adfors came together for a tree planting activity at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM).
Gyproc Malaysia participated in the Building Trade Show (BTS) 2017 from 24th to 26th March 2017 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
BTS 2017 is organised by the Sarawak Chapter of Malaysian Institute of Architects (Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia Sarawak Chapter, PAMSC) where exhibitors introduce and display the latest innovations in the building industry, attractive housing and industrial designs and quality construction material.
Gyproc Malaysia was proud to show support for the United Architects of the Philippines - Kuala Lumpur Chapter (UAP-KL) ArkiBadminTour 2017 tournament held at Wisma Chha Yong on 1st April 2017.
On 20th April 2017, Gyproc Malaysia together with Weber Malaysia and E.Mix conducted a technical presentation to architects from the Public Works Department (JKR) in Perak held at their office in Ipoh. There was also a technical demonstration conducted by Weber Malaysia for the participants to better understand their products and application.
Gyproc Malaysia conducted an educational talk to architecture, interior design and quantity surveying students from Taylor's University on 3rd May 2017. Over 150 students attended this technical presentation on our products and solutions. We take pride in being able to impart our knowledge to the bright young minds of tomorrow.
Practical demonstrations are always the best when it comes to showcasing our products and solutions. Gyproc Malaysia have set up a mock-up display of our systems at the Public Works Department's (JKR) Centre of Excellence for Engineering & Technology (CREaTE) in Melaka.
